What information do we collect?
We collect the personal and health information needed to provide eye care: your name, contact details, date of birth, NHS eligibility details, medical and eye history, prescriptions, test results, scans and clinical notes.
When you use this website we collect the details you enter in a form, and basic analytics such as the page you came from and advertising click identifiers.
How do we use it?
To provide and plan your eye care, process NHS sight test claims, send appointment and recall reminders, and respond to enquiries. We do not sell your information.
Who do we share it with?
Only with people involved in your care or payment, such as your GP, a hospital eye service, an optical laboratory making your lenses, the NHS, or where the law requires it. Our software providers process data under contract and in line with UK GDPR.
How is it stored?
Clinical records and images are kept in secure practice software with restricted access, and held for the periods required for optical records.
Can I see or correct my records?
Yes. Ask the practice in writing and we will respond within one month. If you have a privacy concern, contact us first; you may also contact the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
